The scientific literature clearly supports the benefits to individuals struggling with mental health disorders to obtain nutritional expertise. In an effort to maximize each client’s benefit from individual psychotherapy, on a case by case basis, I occasionally make direct referrals to a well-established and trusted evidence-based nutritionist with whom I work collaboratively toward the client’s overall well-being. Similar to my psychological practice, the work of this nutritionist is based upon controlled evidence-based research and best practices.
